Caring For Your Pieces

All of our Kira and Eve pieces are made with premium quality stainless steel, featuring sterling silver filled findings (which includes the earring hooks, ear threaders, necklace chains, jump rings and headpins). We have selected premium quality as we intend every one of our pieces to last you a lifetime, and with a little love and care - they will!

We have outlined some information below to help your pieces look as fresh as the day you got them.

• Sterling Silver - if you find the sterling silver findings beginning to tarnish, use a silver cloth to remove any discolouration. Using a silver cloth will also bring any dull looking silver back to life. We have anti-tarnish treated cloths available to purchase here.
  
  
• Stainless Steel - the body of each Kira and Eve piece has been created with a premium quality stainless steel. If you find that there is a mark you wish to remove - it should be easy to fix! Just dampen a soft, lint free cloth with water and gently rub any marks to remove them. Be sure to take care and use a clean cloth so that the stainless steel isn't damaged.
  
  
• Storing Your Kira and Eve Pieces - we recommend storing your pieces in a proper jewellery box to ensure it is protected by the elements when not being worn. If you don't have a jewellery box, try to store your piece in a dry, humid free area.
  
  
• Can I exercise, shower and / or go swimming in my Kira and Eve pieces? - Please don't! We recommend removing any of our pieces before undertaking any of the above activities, as your items can be damaged beyond repair and we create all of our pieces with the intention to wear for a long period of time. If you're unsure, it is probably best to remove them and then pop them back on once you're done.
